Distilled Bottled Vol Cask No. – – 46% 01 Ex-Oloroso Sherry Cask Product Info Tasting Notes The wide valley across and around the River Spey is universally acknowledged as the heartland of malt distillation in Scotland, we have chosen our first Kinloch Malt to be a bottling that reflects the characteristics of this region. The malts included in the spirit come from some of the most prestigious distilleries along the banks of the River Spey. The spirit is both elegant and complex Appearance Bright, yellow gold. Moderate legs; good viscosity. Aroma An initial treacle toffee aroma which soon resolves into sweet vanilla sponge. It benefits from water (and it can take a lot) but remains peppery. The aroma is now more fruity – pear drops & peach stones. Taste The mouthfeel is smooth and the taste sweet with a warming, medium-length finish. The sweetness is increased with water, which also develops the soft, mouth-filling texture.
